Carl Goebel was a mid 19th century Vienese landscape and portrait painter and lithographer. He travelled extensively throughout Europe -including Russia - and in 1864 he visited Spain and North Africa, a trip that must have included Gibraltar. Shown below are three paintings which must have done while he was there.
