Princeton University Library attributes Alexander Dudgeon Gulland, MD as the creator of an album of photographs documenting the Morant Bay Rebellion in Jamaica. This thoroughly unpleasant event took place in1865 and apart from numerous other photos of the Indian Northwest Frontier Hazara Campaign of 1867-1870 - is the most historiclly interesting part of the album.
The album, however, also contains views of Malta, Ireland, Guernsey, Spain and Gibraltar taken by a variety of photographers. All the Gibraltar ones are almost certainly commercial copies taken by Francis Frith possibly during the later than 1865 during the late 19th century. Here they are:
