1930 - Paul Servant – Photos of Gibraltar
Paul was born in Lyon in 1878 and died in 1958 Tangier in 1958. He served for many years in the Régiment d'Infanterie Coloniale and spent some of his spare time as president of the local Office of Tourisme.

More to the point, he was an amateur photographer who took numerous photos of the city, as well as others elsewhere in Morocco, Spain, France and - luckily for me – Gibraltar. The dates given for the photos I have posted in this article are all given as having been taken in 1930. Some have been posted elsewhere on other pages but for some reason not the best ones. Here are all the ones I have found so far.
